Jim Ross Talks Life After WWE, WWE Total Diva Surprises Her Mom, Chris Jericho's Latest Guest

- The Norman Transcript recently did a Q&A with WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross. JR was asked if it really feels like more than a year since he left WWE. He replied:

"No, it sure doesn't. When I left, I said I was going to try to reinvent myself. There are things that I've always wanted to do, but due to contractual obligations, or my crazy schedule, I had been unable to attempt. I've done NFL football, and I've done the XFL on NBC.

I wanted to do boxing, and I did a boxing event on Memorial Day. I'm probably going to do some more. My manager is in talks with Fox now for me to do more boxing for Oscar de la Hoya's company, Golden Boy Promotions. We'll see how those talks end up. Then I do my first MMA play-by-play gig on pay-per-view."

- Nerdist's Chris Hardwick is featured on the latest episode of Chris Jericho's Talk Is Jericho podcast. The description reads like this:

"Chris Hardwick says being a "nerd" is NOT a bad thing! So Y2J & Hardwick let their nerd flags fly – and talked about everything from Dungeons & Dragons (guess who still plays) to Star Wars to comics. They traded William Shatner stories and impersonations; they shared thoughts and predictions about the new season of "Walking Dead"; and talked podcasting 101, as in how in the heck did Chris Hardwick get Tom Hanks, Morgan Freeman, and Arnold Schwarzenegger to guest on The Nerdist!? This one will make you laugh...might even make you cry."

"It made my day to see the look on my mom's face when we surprised her with something BIG! #TotalDivas"
