TNA Looking To Sign More Mexican Luchadors
TNA officials appear to be on the lookout for more Mexico-based wrestlers according to a new report by TNAInsider.com.
Officials from Monterrey-based Llaves y Candados promotion revealed to the Mexican media that they have been in active discussions with TNA officials to bring in two more Luchadores, specifically El Hijo del Ninja y Rico Rodríguez. Diego García, an official for both the promotion and for Arena Coliseo where the promotion is primarily based, issued the following statement, translated and paraphrased to English:
"We've been in constant contact with Bob Ryder and Andy Barton in regards to two Luchadores, specifically from our Llaves y Candados promotion. Most of the attention has been focused on El Hijo del Ninja y Rico Rodríguez"
El Hijo Del Ninja is a third generation wrestler trained by his dad, the original Ninja. He is also the cousin the late great Hector Garza, who also happened to have won the very first TNA World X Cup. Not much is known about Rico at this time.
