RVD Talks Legalizing Marijuana, Mac Miles On WWE Release, Randy Orton Lands WWE Magazine Cover

- Randy Orton graces the cover of the September 2014 issue of WWE Magazine. It is the second-to-last issue after WWE eliminated production on publications earlier this month in a cost-cutting measure.

- Two weeks ago, WWE cut ties with five developmental wrestlers: Mac Miles, Garrett Dylan, Slate Randall, Travis Tyler and Dani Jackson. Miles, who's real name is William McNamee, addressed his departure from the sports-entertainment organization this week on his personal Facebook account.

"A couple weeks ago I had my 7 month review with my head coach. Things were great and in line. Well soon after that the company had to make budget cuts. 60+ people from all around the company were let go, me being one of them. s–t happens," said McNamee. "So grateful to have had the opportunity while I did. Most likely moving back to Denver but unsure of exactly when. Life is good, I'm happy and on to the next adventure. All you can control is your attitude and how you handle situations. When life kicks u in the ass, you take it like a man and figure it out! #Blessed."

For those unfamiliar with McNamee, he is a 6'3" novice athlete from Colorado who WWE signed in the fall following an impressive tryout?the same tryout Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards participated in. Misidentified as "Dylan Mile" in original online reports, McNamee impressed WWE officials with his agility, which included a 37-inch vertical leap. He made his WWE NXT debut at the July 17 tapings?teaming with Steve Cutler, they were squashed by NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension.
