NXT Star Comments On New Tag Team, Full Sail President Talks WWE Relationship, Lawler
- As seen at WWE Payback, all announcers had a bottle of Mountain Dew in front of them as that was a presenting sponsor of the event. A fan photo from ringside that's going around social media shows that Jerry Lawler was actually drinking a Diet Coke that he kept tucked away from the camera.
- Brian Fritz of The Orlando Sentinel has a new blog up looking at WWE's relationship with Full Sail University. As noted, WWE and Full Sail recently celebrated their second year together. Full Sail President Garry Jones talked about the partnership before Takeover last week:
"The relationship between Full Sail and the WWE is one of those rare situations when you first meet someone and are impressed and as time goes on you're even more impressed with the people. The WWE has people of their word: they do what they say and when they say it. It's extraordinary."
