TNA Impact Wrestling Results: Money, Power And Respect
MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley enter the arena after King sucker punches Kazarian in the back.
MVP starts cutting a typical heel promo by talking down to the crowd and bragging that he put himself into a position of power to bring in his friends.
His new key words are Money, Power, and Respect. He also says he is the greatest politician in the world, as the crowd chants "You sold out". MVP replies that he sells out arenas all over the world.
Kenny King takes the mic and calls MVP a genius and then says he was responsible for the "exhibition" match with MVP and his match with Lashley.
Lashley tells about how he has put his faith and trust in MVP and called MVP a visionary.
The Wolves come to the ring and question MVP about the money, power, and respect issue. They said wrestling wasn't about money.
MVP says if it wasn't for him they would still be taking 15 hour bus rides and eating Ramen Noodles in Japan. He also says he didn't cut them in on his plan because they didn't have the stomach for it. He tells them that they would still be working for jabroni independent promoters if he hadn't brought them in.
The Wolves go after Lashley and King, but can't handle them as MVP makes it 3 on 2. After beating The Wolves down, Lashley spears Richards through a table on the stage.
After the break, EC3 and Dixie Carter arrive in a limo. Then, we see Richards being loaded into an ambulance.
The World Heavyweight Champion's music plays and Eric Young is on his way to the ring. He looks pissed. He says do you want to play the numbers game MVP and immediately MVP comes down the ramp.
EY says you are going to shut up and listen to me. To that, MVP says that if that's the case, I'm gonna bring a couple of friends with me. King and Lashley join MVP on the ramp.
EY calls King a scumbag and then questions Lashley about how he will answer to his son about being a sellout.
MVP takes the conversation back over and says there are no sellouts here. Just those who are motivated by money, power, and respect.
Austin Aries comes down and he pulls King out of the ring. Aries and Lashley follow King up the ramp.
Aries said some people like him, some people don't like him but they see MVP for what he is and that's a big fake.
MVP says Austin Aries – the biggest ego that ever lived and later tonight it will be MVP vs Aries and we will find out who EY will be wrestling later in the show.
In the back we see Bram and Magnus talking. Bram says he talked to MVP and got Magnus a Falls Count Anywhere Match against Willow. Magnus says he is getting sick of Bram and punches him to the floor.
Angelina Love issues an open challenge for her title. Gail Kim accepts and Angelina says she's not allowed. Kim them beats down the Knockouts Champion until they are separated.
After the break, The Beautiful People are in the ring and Love repeats her open challenge to everyone except for former Knockouts Champions. She is willing to give a "newbie" a chance.
Out comes Brittany to accept.
Angelina Love vs Brittany for the Knockouts Belt
We finally are into our first match 35 minutes into the program.
Angelina starts out fast, but Brittany turns it around with some high impact moves for a couple of near falls. Velvet Sky distracts the referee while Brittany has Love rolled up to pin. Brittany goes over and knocks Velvet off the apron but that gives Love the time to hit the Botox Injection and the pin.
The Beautiful People then give Brittany a "Makeover" and Gail Kim comes out and makes the save.
Winner of the match: Angelina Love
In the back it's Dixie and EC3 and Dixie says she will address MVP TONIGHT!
It's Mr. Anderson and James Storm in a bar. Storm challenges Anderson to a drinking contest.
Next up it is MVP vs Austin Aries
Aries nails MVP before the Director of Operations even gets to the ring and Aries takes early command. MVP turns it around and takes Aries outside the ring and he gains control.
Both wrestlers go back and forth with neither one staying in control long. Aries gives MVP 2 dropkicks in the corner and goes to the top for a 450, when Lashley and King come out and interfere causing the disqualification.
All three are beating down Aries when EY comes down to make the save. However, it's 3 on 2 and Aries and EY are beat down by MVP and his goons. MVP then tells EY he will be facing Bobby Lashley later tonight.
With that we hear Dixie's music and the TNA President is on her way to the ring as we go to commercial.
Dixie confronts MVP in the ring. MVP says didn't I ban you from the Impact Zone. She says she is still TNA President and MVP's actions require her to be there.
Dixie tells MVP she is there to see what she can do for MVP. Bully Ray's music hits and he comes down and chases Dixie and EC3 away with a Kendo stick.
MVP says he banned both Bully Ray and Dixie and wants to know why Bully is here.
Bully calls MVP a piece of crap and rips on MVP about picking on Eric Young. Says EY has been here since Day 1 and should show him more respect.
MVP says he's about to cry and then MVP and his thugs beat down Bully Ray. As they leave the ring Dixie and EC3 come back in the ring and Dixie says Ethan – "Get The Tables". As Bully is about to attack Dixie, EC3 slams Bully through the table.
With that, Dixie stand over Bully Ray and says Dixie Carter fears...NO ONE!
After the break Dixie is bragging about fearing no one when she and EC3 see Bully Ray limping towards them. They run for the limo and take off.

Bram is at ringside with Magnus.
Willow and Magnus both hit some early high impact moves with no one getting the upper hand and both getting a couple of near falls both inside and outside the ring.
Bram gives Magnus a steel turn buckle part to use as a weapon. Magnus hits Willow in the stomach and Bram is upset that Magnus didn't hit Willow in the head. Magnus starts to hit Willow in the head but can't bring himself to do it.
Willow hits a Twist of Fate on Magnus on the ramp and get the pin.
Winner of the Falls Count Anywhere match: Willow
We see Eddie Edwards back from the hospital and he looks like he is ready to get some.
Gunner is visiting with Samuel Shaw in the insane asylum and tells Shaw that he spent time with a friend from the military in a place just like this. Gunner says he believes Shaw can get better. Shaw says why should he trust Gunner.
Eddie Edwards storms to the ring and calls out either MVP, Lashley, or Kenny King. King comes out and Edwards runs up the ramp and attacks The King of the Night. There is no referee, no bell, just a beat down on King by Edwards.
Once they get in the ring King grabs the mic and nails Edwards in the head a couple of times. They take it back out to the floor where Edwards takes control again. This is just a pure fight and not a match.
King throws Edwards into the steel barrier and then the steel steps.
King leaves the ring telling Edwards he can join his partner in the hospital.
Back at the bar, the beer drinking contest continues between Anderson and Storm. Anderson reveals that Storm has been drinking beer and Anderson wasn't. Anderson beats down a drunken Cowboy and shoves a $100 bill in Storms mouth.
Next up is the main event.
Eric Young vs Bobby Lashley
Tenay points out that once again MVP disrespects the champion by having him introduced first.
Also, MVP had told Brian Hebner that he was putting Hebner as the referee and to do the right thing for MVP in this match.
Lashley takes control of EY in the early going and also intimidates Hebner as we take our final break of the night.
Lashley keeps the onslaught going after the break and hits a nasty vertical suplex. The announcers tell us that this isn't a title match as Lashley continues to use his superior strength with a big bear hug.
Finally EY hits Lashley with a drop kick off the top rope but can't get the pin. Lashley gets the champ in another pinning position and when he only gets a two count he starts to go after Hebner again.
EY hits a pile driver on Lashley and out comes King and MVP and they crotch EY on the top rope. This gives Lashley the opportunity to hit a spear and and then the Dominator and Lashley gets the pin.
They continue to embarrass and disrespect Young with a major pounding when Austin Aries comes out with a Kendo stick. Lashley immediately takes out Aries and MVP, King, and Lashley leave them both laying in the ring.
