CM Punk Talks Tito Ortiz And Rampage Jackson Joining TNA, Wrestling Being Tougher Than MMA

As noted earlier, CM Punk recently chatted with Sam Roberts. Here are some highlights from the interview.

Which is more difficult, being a pro wrestler or pro MMA fighter: "Well, I'm not a professional MMA fighter so I really wouldn't be able compare the two, so to speak. I do have a lot of friends who are MMA fighters, some of them have dabbled in professional wrestling. They all tell me professional wrestling is harder. That's what they say. We don't have an off season. We don't have down time in between fights. We wrestle Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. We do one international tour a year. I could go on yadda, yadda, yadda. You know all this. You know the haps.

"Not saying MMA isn't tough, because it is. I think they both have their positives and negatives within the toll that it's taken on their body. I personally can't speak from experience, you know what I mean, not yet."

What does he think of Tito Ortiz and Rampage Jackson getting into pro wrestling: "Great. The more the merrier. If anybody's going to b**** about Tito and Rampage doing pro wrestling, I'll show you exhibit A: Jay Leno. It's show business. Both those guys are athletes and they're tough sons of b****es, so I'm not going to complain about it."
