The Steiner Brothers Are Champions Again, Scott Steiner Wins Singles Gold, Jushin Liger Note
- Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner defeated Dutch Pro Wrestling Champion Santos to win the Dutch Heavyweight Championship in front of a sold out crowd during the 2013 edition of Dutch Pro Wrestling's Grand Slam event. You can watch Steiner's victory in the video above. The event also saw Shelton Benjamin defeat Dutch WWE prospect Emil Sitoci, while Chris Masters defeated Holland's most hated wrestler, Mark Kodiak. Former Dutch Heavyweight Champion Max Damon also defeated Carlito at the show.
- The legendary Jushin "Thunder" Liger will make his debut at Dutch Pro Wrestling's November 17th show titled Japanese Conflict, where he will face The Untamable Emil Sitoci in the main event. Tickets for Japanese Conflict will go on sale on Monday, June 17th. You can get more information or purchase tickets at this link.
- The Dutch Heavyweight Championship wasn't the only gold that Steiner had recently obtained. Scott reunited with brother Rick, who came out of retirement at PCW No Retreat, No Surrender in the UK late last month, to defeat Fight Club to capture the Preston City Wrestling Tag Team Championships. The Fight Club had held the titles for 287 days. It was the first time that Rick Steiner has wrestled in the UK since the early 90's, and it was the first time The Steiner Brothers have tagged since their time in TNA. You can watch a post-show with some clips of The Steiner Brothers, Doug Williams & Goldust here.
