Lawal took Petruzelli to the ground early, however the action was paused because the fighters butted heads during the takedown. Once the fight resumed, Lawal took Petruzelli back to the ground and was in Petruzelli's guard. Lawal stood up and pushed Petruzelli's legs to the side and planted him with a huge right hand that immediately took him out.
