- Bret Hart issued an apology to Pat Patterson for a joke he cracked during the Bret Hart Appreciation Night on RAW this past Monday night. During the ceremony, Patterson got down to one knee and shook Bret's hand, to which Bret replied, "when Pat starts getting to his knees, I start getting scared." Lawler tried to play off the joke and it was an awkward moment. Hart wrote on his Facebook:

"I sincerely apologize to anyone that was in any way offended by my in-ring joke to Pat Patterson on Monday, especially to Pat, whom I hold in the highest regard. I was only trying to take some of the edge off an emotionally challenging moment and I failed. The comment does not in any way reflect my feelings toward the gay and lesbian community. B"
