WWE Signs New Wrestler, Linda McMahon Denounces Mitt Romney's Comments, Dibiase

- Linda McMahon made headlines yesterday for denouncing some recent comments made by Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Romney came under fire this week after a video revealed comments that he made at a private fund-raiser in May, where he said 47 percent of voters pay no income tax, are dependent upon government and "believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it."

"I disagree with Gov. Romney's insinuation that 47 percent of Americans believe they are victims who must depend on the government for their care," McMahon said in a statement on her website. "I know that the vast majority of those who rely on government are not in that situation because they want to be. People today are struggling because the government has failed to keep America competitive, failed to support job creators, and failed to get our economy back on track."

- According to The Examiner, WWE has signed 6'8" 280 lb. Jacob Southwick to a developmental deal. Southwick, who wrestles as Big Jake South, is a two-time NCAA All American wrestler from Ashland University College in Ohio.
