Jake Roberts Questions Second Ric Flair WWE HOF Induction; Discusses Wrestling The Undertaker

Jake "The Snake" Roberts appeared on Wrestling Voice Radio with Duane Doogan (available at WrestlingVoiceRadio.com). Here are some highlights:

His favorite WrestleMania moment: "God that is so tough, I had so many of them, I had so much fun at them, WrestleMania 3 was out of this world, the amount of people that were there, Alice Cooper and Honky Tonk Man doing that stuff it was unbelievable and that is still the record. And then Andre the Giant. How can I not put that in there? That was great. Then you think about (Ted) DiBiase and being able to take his money and give it to Mary Tyler Moore. That was hilarious. Then there's being in there with The Undertaker. Different reasons for different ones."

Wrestling "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase at WrestleMania VI: "It was always easy (working with Ted). He listened to me, let me guide the ship, and I respect him for the fact that he did listen. And he's a great mechanic in ring, but I got the better deal as I had a snake and he had Virgil, but what the hell."

Ric Flair being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame a second time: "Why does he have to be inducted twice? Is it because he didn't remember the first time? Or did he have his t–s done or something? Did that I say that out loud?"

Writing a book: "It's gonna be a thick book, I'd like to knock some of the guys that I hate like Ric Flair or Ultimate Warrior, but I won't? did I say that out loud too? Oh s–t!"

Wrestling The Undertaker at WrestleMania VIII, did he think twenty years ago he'd still be wrestling now: "God, no. Who could have ever predicted that. It's just incredible. I could never have predicted I'd have wrestled Andre. I could never have predicted they'd still be doing WrestleManias. But the machine they've built, they're built to the wall and I look back and they are so special. Nobody in the world has an idea how much work goes into it. Everybody does everything. So much work, time, effort."
