SmackDown General Manager announced on SmackDown! last night that Dolph Ziggler would defend the Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston at Night of Champions, which takes place on September 19 from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. If Ziggler is disqualified or counted out, he will lose the title.
