Matt Hardy Denies Being Sent Home From European Tour
As noted yesterday, Matt Hardy was sent home from the WWE European tour. According to PWInsider, there was concern over Hardy's condition backstage at a live event in Minehead, England over the weekend. The issues apparently follow an incident at last week's live event in White Plains, New York where he was scheduled to team with R-Truth against Luke Gallows and CM Punk. Company sources indicate there was concern over his condition that day too. It's said that Hardy left the building after officials spoke to him and never returned for his match.
Matt Hardy took to the web last night to respond, and noted that he was still in Great Britain and had not been sent home. He did not address not working the last night of the tour and blamed "a stooging punk" for the story.
