The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
HBK enters the ring to his normal entrance. The Undertaker comes in from under the stage surrounded by lasers. No fire used this time. Undertaker's outfit is a little different as he's wearing almost like a leather robe with the sleeves cut off. As far as his entrances go, this is one of his least impressive, although it's understandable with him not wanting to use fire after the accident at Elimination Chamber.
Shawn Michaels looked unfazed as 'Taker took his robe off. The two looked eye to eye in the center of the ring, and HBK did the throat slicing gesture that 'Taker always does.
Undertaker gained the advantage early and hit old school. Undertaker then went for a chokeslam, but Michaels countered. Undertaker looks like he hurt his knee when he landed with old school, but it may be a worked injury as Michaels just kicked it. Michaels went for sweet chin music, but Undertaker dodged it and sold the knee. Michaels then started attacking the knee, and worked over 'Taker's leg. He managed at one point to secure a figure-four leglock on 'Taker, but 'Taker was able to turn it over and HBK broke the hold.
'Taker and Michaels traded chops, and 'Taker was able to hit Michaels with a chokeslam, but only got two. He went for a tombstone, but Michaels wiggled out and locked in an ankle lock on the Undertaker. Undertaker was able to punch his way out, and Michaels clotheslined him over the top rope. He then did a moonsault onto Taker outside the ring, but Taker caught him and delivered a tombstone on the outside of the ring! Taker rolled HBK back into the ring, but only got a two count.
Undertaker then went for a last ride, but his leg buckled and Michaels covered Taker for a two count. Michaels then climbed the ropes and came off with an elbow, but Taker got his knees up. Undertaker then applied Hell's Gate, but Michaels countered and rolled up Taker for a two count.
Undertaker got up and Michaels hit Sweet Chin Music, but only got a two count! Michaels then geared up for another kick, but Undertaker caught his leg and delivered the last ride, but only got a two count!
Undertaker then threw Michaels out of the ring. He set up one of the announcer's tables and went to give Michaels the last ride on a table, but Michaels got out and delivered SCM and Taker landed on the table. Michaels climbed to the top rope and delivered a moonsault onto 'Taker's knees on the table.
HBK got Undertaker back in the ring and hit SCM again, but only got two! Michaels went for SCM again, but Taker reversed it into a chokeslam. Taker landed another tombstone, but Michaels kicked out again!
Undertaker pulled his straps down and then paused, like he didn't know what to do. He told Michaels to stay down as Michaels climbed to his feet and mocked 'Taker. Michaels then slapped 'Taker and 'Taker responded with a tombstone to pin Shawn Michaels and end his career. Another great match, although I'm not sure if it exceeded their match from last year.
Winner via pinfall: The Undertaker
After the match, The Undertaker helped Michaels to his feet and they shook hands. 'Taker left the ring and Michaels waved to the crowd while holding back tears. Michaels then slapped hands with the fans while he headed to the back.
