-JeriShow is out to start the show with Jericho clutching Bragging Rights as if it is the Stanley Cup or something. Show says he is still a proud member of the Raw roster, and starts to explain his actions. Jericho cuts him off and says he doesn't need to explain himself. He says Show is a man of honor and his loyalty to Jericho supercedes any loyalty he has for Raw. Show tries to tell him something, but Jericho says he has something to tell him first. He thanks Show for stopping the tyranny of DX, but Show again says he needs to let him talk. Jericho cuts him off, and says he knows that Smackdown would have won anyway because he was the mastermind and the genius. Show finally cuts him off, and says he did what he did for him. Show says he did it for his career, as he can be on both shows. He says he struck a deal with Teddy Long, and he's now Undertaker's opponent at Survivor Series. Jericho says he never approved that with him, and they get into a little argument over who needs who and low calorie food (seriously) but they are interrupted by the race car drivers who come barreling into the arena in their race cars. Joey Logano and Kyle Busch head to the ring accompanied by the Bellas. Kyle says they are huge WWE fans, and they are proud to be here on Raw. Kyle tells Show that the fans don't really care for what he did, but he's a man's man and he's with him. He says things are happening for a reason, and congratulates Show. Logano says what he did was wrong, and that's not impressive. Show tells Kyle to teach his friend a little something about respect. Kyle says Joey doesn't know much about Championships, but they're here to win Championships. Oh god, I don't like where this is headed. Kyle says they're in Buffalo. A city that hasn't won a Championship since Hulkamania! BURN! Kyle busts on Buffalo for signing TO, and says soon we're going to be singing "Oh Canada" Jericho doesn't see anything wrong with that. Joey says he gets to book the matches, and tonight Show is going to face the guy he sucker punched. HHH vs. Show tonight. Jericho tries to show off the cup to Joey, but Kyle interrupts and says he's going to book Jericho in a match with Kofi Johns..err?Kingston. Acting fail for the NASCAR boys. Kofi is out and that match is next.
Chris Jericho vs. Kofi Johnson Kingston
Bell rings as we get back from break and Kofi pushes Jericho into the corner. Jericho bails to the floor for a breather before heading back inside. They trade shoves before Jericho gets the upper hand with a boot to the midsection. Jericho whips Kofi to the corner, but charges into a double boot. Kofi sends Jericho for the ride and delivers a big dropkick for two. Kofi grabs an armbar, but Jericho is able to get to the ropes. Jericho regains control with a cheapshot off the break, and follows up by choking Kofi out on the second rope. Kofi is back with a rollup, but the comeback is quickly thwarted by Jericho. Jericho grabs a side headlock, and follows up with a shoulderblock. Jericho hits the ropes, but Kofi leapfrogs a few times and delivers a jumping back elbow sending Jericho back to the floor. Kofi delivers a suicide dive, and fires Jericho back inside. Kofi hops to the second rope for a series of right hands, but Jericho counters with a running powerbomb. Kofi rolls to the apron, but Jericho delivers a springboard dropkick sending him to the floor as we head to break.
Back from commercial with Jericho slingshotting Kofi into the bottom rope, and then locking in the half nelson chinlock. Kofi is able to fight out, and then hits a rollup for two. Jericho is back with a clothesline for two of his own. Kofi fights back out of the corner, and then counters a running bulldog attempt by Jericho sending him crotch first into the ringpost. Jericho charges into a pair of chops, and a spin kick before delivering a flying clothesline. Boom drop connects, but Jericho pops up into a Walls of Jericho attempt. Kofi fights out of that, but Jericho delivers an enzaguri for a two count. Jericho charges into the corner, but Kofi meets him with a bicycle kick and heads to the top rope. Jericho meets him up top, and goes for a superplex which is blocked by Kofi. He sends Jericho back crashing to the mat, and hits a crossbody off the top. Jericho rolls through though and that's good for a two count. Kofi delivers a Side Russian Legsweep, and goes for Trouble in Paradise. Jericho catches him in mid air though and goes for the Walls! Kofi counters into a rollup for two, but walks in the codebreaker from Jericho. He's slow to cover though, and Kofi gets his foot on the rope at two! Jericho thinks he's won the match, and argues with the ref, but turns around into the Trouble in Paradise. This time in connects, and that picks up the win for Kofi at 13:34. Huge win for Kofi, and a great match. Just what you'd expect from these guys. Great start to the show.
Winner: Kofi Kingston (Pinfall-Trouble in Paradise ***1/4)
Kofi is celebrating on the ramp when he is met from behind by an enraged Randy Orton, who throws Kofi off the ramp to the floor. Randy stands looking over the ramp with that psychotic look as officials check on Kofi. Random, but that's what made it work.
-The Redskins are terrible. That is all.
-Josh Mathews stops Orton to get words on why he attacked Kofi last night. He says Kofi interfered in his match last night, and cost him the title. He says he's only just begun on Kofi Kingston. Cody kicks Josh aside, and him and Dibiase say they have a gift for him. It's a Randy Orton race car. Orton loves it, and asks if they actually bought it for him. Dibiase says they've had their differences, but Orton is still the leader. He says they also have a surprise in store for John Cena, and it's only a matter of time before the title comes back to Legacy. Orton-Evolution storyline in reverse anyone?
-Logano and Busch pimp the race with Eve Torres before they are interrupted by Jack Swagger. Swagger says they have a lot in common. Young, successful champions who aren't afraid to tell people how good they are. Busch asks what he wants, and Swagger says he wants a shot at Cena tonight. They say they probably can't swing it because Cena wrestled tonight, but they are going to pick Cena's next opponent. Swagger gets distracted by Eve, and starts to hit on her before he's interrupted by Miz. Miz says since he was the only Raw guy to win last night he deserves Cena's title shot.
Mixed Tag Team Match: Santino Marella & Melina vs. Chavo Guerrero & Jillian
Santino teases the splits on the intro, but thinks better of it. Chavo and Santino start things off, and Santino greets Chavo with a backdrop. Santino delivers a back elbow, and goes for the salute splash which misses. Chavo rams Santino into the corner, and chokes him out with the boot. European uppercut connects by Chavo for two, but Santino stops an Irish Whip with a cartwheel and an armdrag. Santino delivers a few hilarious right hands, and Chavo tags in Jillian. The divas go at it next with Jillian gaining control with a clothesline. That brings out Hornswoggle for a distraction, and Melina goes a last call which is horribly botched (and Melina looked noticeably upset). They get tied up in the ropes, and finally Melina hits the primal scream and that finishes at 2:36. After the match a courier delivers Hornswoggle an official document, but of course he can't read so he takes it over to Lawler. Lawler informs him it is a cease and desist order from DX letting him no he can no longer dress up like HBK. Slow burn for Swoggle-Michaels at WM 26?
Winners: Santino Marella & Melina (Melina pins Jillian-Primal Scream ?*)
-Justin Roberts goes to introduce John Cena, but is interrupted by Legacy. Cody says the Champ is?not here. He says it would the perfect time for him to parade out here and brag about his epic victory, but Cena will have to wait because The Legacy is here. Dibiase says just because Randy can't face Cena for the WWE Title it doesn't mean they can't. He says at Survivor Series they are bringing the WWE Championship back to Legacy where it belongs. Dibiase says they didn't ask the guest hosts, because they didn't have to. He says they are making a challenge directly to him. He says he can face Cody or Ted or he can face both of them in a handicap match if he's got the guts. That brings out Cena who says he doesn't have to brag about what happened last night. He says it was what needed to be. The best in the WWE competing in one final showdown, and he can even speak for their mentor Randy Orton in saying they were exhausted. He says people ask why they would do something like that. In a weird way they did it for themselves, the title, and all of the fans, but most importantly they did it because the Cena-Orton rivalry needed to end and it did (shoot comment?). He says that brings us to Raw when everyone is wondering who challenger will be. He says everyone wants to see Cena vs. (mockingly) Randy Orton's legacy. They say they aren't Randy, but Cena says they're close enough. He says people will think Raw is going into reruns?WOW?this promo was written by the IWC wasn't it? Cena says they've been going in circles for 12 years and its time for him to say no more. He tells them they can make all the empty challenges they want, and how they're going to take the title back to Legacy. He says if they want a shot at the belt they can lace their boots up and work for it. He tells them they haven't earned it yet, and asks the crowd if the baby oil boys club has earned anything? They of course say no, and he says while they're acting all holier than thou, and buying stock cars than Randy Orton he says he's actually a NASCAR fan. He says he was talking to the hosts, and he got them a match for tonight that will happen right now. He says they need to introduce themselves to their next opponents, and brings out MVP and Mark Henry.
-Randy Orton meets them in the ring after the match, and says apparently the guest hosts are looking for a challenger for John Cena. He says he understands the terms of his match last night, and he doesn't care. He is a former champion, and he is entitled to a rematch. He says he will take his case to the board of directors to get back what is his. Kofi interrupts on the titantron, and says Orton doesn't get it. He lost, its over, no one wants to hear him talk. Orton tells him to come say it to his face, but Kofi says he already is. We see that Kofi is standing on Orton's car, which just infuriates Randy. Kofi then says the wonderful thing about these stockcars's are they are so durable, and he's going to show him how durable they are. He keys the car, and then bashes the hood with a tire iron. He says he really screwed up the paint job, and wants to make it right. He then grabs a bucket of paint and pours it all over the hood and says Orton has never looked better. Where the hell has that been for two years? Amazing promo and delivery from Kofi. Why stick that guy with a Jamaican gimmick?
Evan Bourne vs. The Miz
Eve Torres serves as guest ring announcer for this one for reasons that can't adequately be explained. Miz opens up with a boot to the chest, and then delivers a legsweep to a charging Bourne for one. Miz sticks a knee to the throat of Bourne, and follows up with a back suplex for two. Miz grabs a double arm chickenwing from a seated position which just looks sick, but Bourne comes free and rolls through a sunset flip delivering a double knee to the face for two. Bourne delivers a series of kicks, and a spinning hurracanrana for a two count. Miz fires Bourne into the corner and delivers a series of shoulder blocks, but here comes Swagger to get a closer look. Miz fires Bourne into the top turnbuckle, but Swagger interrupts on the mic. He says no one is watching Miz's match, but everyone is watching Eve. Then he corrects himself and says Eve is actually just watching him. Its hard to take your eyes of an All American American you know. Eventually the action gets a little close to Swagger, and Miz comes outside to have words with him. While they're jawing Bourne slingshots over the top taking both men out, and then slides back in for the count out at 4:16. Nice cheap win for Bourne, as he has fallen into total jobber mode only getting cheap wins via count out. Interested to see where this Swagger/Miz stuff is going though.
Winner: Evan Bourne (Count Out **)
-Make sure that 7 second delay is ready. Ozzy & Sharon Osbourn are your guest hosts next week.
Jamie Noble vs. Sheamus
Jamie Noble is alive! And he's about to job to Sheamus in his debut. Sheamus says he's here to make an impression, and then delivers a shoulderblock sending Jamie crashing to the floor. Sheamus goes out after him and throws him back inside delivering a pair of elbow drops for two. Sheamus picks up Jamie in a Canadian Backbreaker, but Jamie is able to elbow his way out of there. Sheamus fires him into the corner, but misses a charge. Noble goes for a rollup, but that fails and Sheamus is back on offense. Sheamus drops an elbow across the back of the neck, and then drops a knee across the back of the neck. A pair of backbreakers connect, and that is followed by a jumping big boot to finish at 2:15. Who ordered the squash?
Winner: Sheamus (Pinfall-Big Boot ?*)
The Big Show (w. Chris Jericho) vs. Triple H (w. Shawn Michaels)
Jericho really needs to lug the Bragging Right's trophy everywhere he goes. Like Owen with his Slammy's. Triple H is back to being wacky DX Trips this week after his cameo as the Game last week. He's turning into the new Mick Foley. Trips calls for the mic after the bell rings, and he tells Show that the hosts forgot to tell him that it was now a lumberjack match. The lumberjacks just happen to be all the Raw guys who Show screwed over last night. Jericho hilariously bails with trophy in hand wanting no part of that crowd, and Shawn has more to say. He says this is not only a lumberjack match, but its also a no disqualification lumberjack match which means they can do whatever they want to him. HBK dismisses Charles Robinson as they have a special ref for this one, and its none other than John Cena. Cena comes out with his ref shirt, and HHH clotheslines Show to the floor as we head to commercial.
Back from the break and Triple H and Big Show are going at it in the ring. Triple H gets on Show's back. During the break, the RAW stars attacked Show on the floor but he knocked most of them right back down. Triple H is trying to put Show down with the sleeper now. Show slams Triple H to the mat. Triple H tries to scoop slam Show but he falls on top of him for a 2 count. Show catches Triple H with a big spear.
Show taunts HBK from inside the ring while he stands on Triple H. Show knocks Triple H down again and walks over his back. Triple H gets up with right hands but Show drops him with a big side slam. Show with a headbutt now and another. Show hits Triple H with more kicks and headbutts, then a scoop slam. Chris Masters tries to get involved and Show brings him in the ring by his head. Show hits the knockout punch on Masters. Triple H staggers Show with a knee to the head and a couple splashes. He comes off the ropes again but Show grabs him for a chokeslam. Triple H counters it with a DDT and a 2 count.
Triple H goes for a Pedigree but Show counters it with a big backdrop. Show climbs to the second rope and splashes down on Triple H. He makes a pin and Cena counts to 2 before stopping, faking a hand injury. Show gets in Cena's face. He turns around to a double dropkick from Primo and Chavo. Swagger and Miz clothesline him in the corner but get dumped. Henry splashes Show in the corner and MVP hits his big kick. Bourne hits the SSP on Show. Santino comes in and does some comedy. Show gets up and chokeslams Santino. Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise on Show and Cena drops him with an Attitude Adjustment. HBK comes in the ring and Triple H holds up a SmackDown shirt, laying it on Show. HBK staggers Show with Sweet Chin Music and Triple H nails the Pedigree for the pinfall and the win.
Winner: Triple H
HBK and DX celebrate in the ring when the music plays and out comes Kyle Busch and Joey Legano. They have been thinking all night about who should face Cena at Survivor Series and they couldn't agree until they found one guy who put them on the same page. The music hits and out comes Hornswoggle, still dressed in DX gear. They announce that it will be Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H vs. John Cena for the WWE Title at Survivor Series. RAW goes off the air with DX and Cena looking at each other in the ring.
