More On Roxxi's TNA Release, TNA's Big New Faction, More

The decision to release Roxxi (Nicole Raczynski) from her contract was apparently a sudden decision on the part of TNA brass. Just last week, in response to online reports that she was being released, Roxxi wrote on her official website, www.Roxxi-Laveaux.org, that contract was not expiring until October. Roxxi wrote: "As for news sites they're hit or miss. Sometimes dead on and others not so much. My contract is up in October so I still have lots of time. If it is true it was never mentioned to me and if that's the case it just gives me an opportunity to go elsewhere."

As seen on last night's episode of iMPACT!, Brutus Magnus dropped his gladiator gimmick and formed a stable known as the British Invasion with Doug Williams and Rob Terry. In their debut match as a team, Magnus and Williams defeated Homicide in a two-on-one handicap match after assaulting his tag team partner Hernandez backstage prior to the match. Williams had been under contract to TNA for nearly a year, but the company had nothing creatively for him until now. Terry, a former bodybuilder from Wales, got his start in wrestling two years ago when he signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. He was in Florida Championship Wrestling for a while, but was peculiarly released this past summer as WWE doesn't give up on prospects who fit their ideal look for what a wrestler should look like so quickly. He stayed in Florida and has been training with Team 3D at their wrestling academy school in Kissimmee ever since. TNA signed him to contract in February.

Danny Bonaduce said on his radio show in Philadelphia that his contract with Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling expires in October, so there is a good chance he will do more with TNA.
