CM Punk Discusses His Passion For Pro Wrestling

– In a feature story with the Chicago Tribune, CM Punk discussed his passion for professional wrestling.

"I never wanted to be an astronaut," Punk said. "I can't remember ever wanting to be a fireman. I always wanted to wrestle."

Punk also recalled his first night as World Heavyweight Champion:

"I had my career flash before my eyes," he said. "It made all sacrifice and every single [thing] I missed worth it." He also explained that his night ended in a hotel room with the title belt. "It was kind of a lonely thing," he said.

"My night always ends in a hotel room by myself. I turned my phone off, no TV on, and just sat there for a long 15 minutes staring at it."
