Big Updates Inside: Dos Caras Jr./WWE & Lashley's MMA Future

? We've been covering the story that lucha libre champion Dos Caras Jr. could be on his way to World Wrestling Entertainment. I can report that Caras stated earlier this week that everything is almost finalized for him to formally join the WWE in January. All he has to do is finalize his departure from Mexican promotion EMLL and pass the medical tests required for him to wrestle in the United States. Dos said that he has been satisfied with his career so far but now is the time to make his big career move He knows he will have to make some adjustments and adapt to the WWE style, but he is ready for the challenge. He added that he does have unfinished business in Mexico with Dr. Wagner Jr. plans to take Wagner's UWA World Heavyweight Title so he can be the true heavyweight champion in Mexico before he leaves. He then plans to vacate both the EMLL and UWA titles on his way out.

? Earlier today I reported the news that Bobby Lashley's MMA debut was in jeopardy because the company he is signed to (American Fight League) announced it is ceasing operations until the first quarter of 2009. Local radio ads running in Miami, Florida are now advertising Bobby Lashley will compete in his first official MMA bout on December 13th at an event promoted by Mixed Fight Alliance called "There Will Be Blood." The show will take place at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
