As stated by Jim Cornette prior to the King Of The Mountain match, the TNA management director offered the fifth and final spot to Jeff Jarrett in the days leading up to the event, but Jarrett turned it down. In turn, Jarrett told Cornette he should select a TNA original for the final spot and a man that has had several wars with Jarrett in the past, "Wildcat" Chris Harris.

Obviously, both Abyss and Tomko required medical attention after their chaotic No Disqualification match. Abyss was the worse off of the two, as he had hundreds of puncture wounds from the tacks and slices on his arms and head from the broken glass. Tomko also received treatment for glass stuck in his back.

Congratulations also go out to "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal, who became the new TNA X Division Champion on Sunday night when he beat Chris Sabin. Lethal told TNAwrestling.com "I told the world I would beat Santana for that title ? it was only a matter of time." When Lethal was informed it was actually Chris Sabin he defeated for the championship, he mumbled something about Snake Roberts ruining his wedding and stormed off.

VKM has promised that Lance Hoyt will have hell to pay after the Texan cost BG and Kip their chance at revenge against Christy Hemme on Sunday night. By the looks of the kiss Christy and Lance shared after the match, one has to assume they had been planning their actions at the Pay-Per-View for some time.

Several major media outlets have requested footage from the Frank Wycheck/Jerry Lynn vs. James Storm/Truth match from Sunday night. On a side note, nearly everyone in TNA was impressed with Wycheck's in-ring debut. According to Jerry Lynn ? who trained with Wycheck the week leading up to the bout ? he could have a future in the sport if he decided to make it a full-time career.

How did Eric Young celebrate his first night of freedom from Robert Roode, Inc? Young appeared at the TNA staff party after the event at Coyote Ugly in downtown Nashville to relax and unwind. "It's nice not being told what to do for the first time in months," Young told TNAwrestling.com at the party. The TNA star followed that up by saying "By the way, has Gail Kim arrived at the party yet?". Prior to his match against Robert Roode, Ms. Brooks attempted to once again seduce Eric, but Gail Kim stepped in and gave Young a huge good luck kiss.
