Bam Bam Bigelow Passes Away At 45
Scott 'Bam Bam' Bigelow has passed away in Florida today at age 45. Bigelow was found dead by his girlfriend at their place of residence in Hudson, Fla. when she woke up at 10 a.m.
Kocosports.com broke the story earlier today. Sources close to Bigelow told Kocosports.com the he had been missing for several days. Police are currently treating the home as a crime scene.
Kevin Doll, the Public Information Director for the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, could not confirm the cause or time of death. However, he did tell WWE.com that the Pasco-Pinellas Counties medical examiner has taken the body and an autopsy will be performed.
Bigelow, 45, worked for WWE, ECW and WCW extensively throughout his 20-year career. He had main evented WrestleMania XI in 1995 against NFL star Lawrence Taylor. Bigelow's last major run in the U.S. was in WCW in the late 1990s.
