Chris Jericho And Nick Wayne Heading To France For AEW Rematch

Chris Jericho and Nick Wayne set a rematch for AEW Grand Slam: France in Paris next month. 

Jericho beat Wayne during last week's "AEW Dynamite" and came out during the "AEW Collision" portion of Wednesday's show to address "The Prodigy." It wasn't long before Wayne had come out to join him in the ring, hyping himself up at the expense of his rival and prompting Jericho to ask why the animosity. 

Jericho then compared Wayne to him when he was younger and called him arrogant. Wayne stopped just short of dropping the F-word in his retort before admitting that, despite all that was said, he cannot accept that Jericho beat him. He said that was something that shouldn't happen, before looking back up at Jericho and telling him it's something that will never happen again. 

Thus, the challenge was laid out for Grand Slam on October 6, which Jericho accepted with a handshake. He then declared that Wayne wasn't a man yet, but just a boy that was going to "get the s*** kicked out of him by Chris Jericho."
