WWE Raw Results 9/21 - LA Knight And Penta Appear, Bayley Takes On Lyra Valkyria

Moments after last Monday's episode of "Raw" went off the air with Roman Reigns retaining his World Heavyweight Championship against Penta, LA Knight blindsided Reigns with a BFT and left him laid out in the ring. This prompted Reigns to extend a World Heavyweight Championship match to Knight at WWE Money In The Bank on October 10 as a means of wanting to seek his retribution. Following such events, both Knight and Penta will be making appearances on tonight's show.

Bayley will be in action as she takes on former friend turned bitter rival Lyra Valkyria. Tensions between the two women have remained no secret over the course of the past several weeks, with Bayley ensuring that Valkyria wouldn't qualify for the 2026 Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match by costing her a Triple Threat Qualifier against Sol Ruca and The Vision's Maxxine Dupri.

Speaking of the 2026 Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match, the aforementioned Ruca, Lola Vice, and Women's United States Champion Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence have all qualified while one half of the World Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker, Je'Von Evans, and United States Trick Williams have all qualified for the 2026 Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match. With both bouts set to take place on October 10, the next two entrants will be revealed tonight as Dominik Mysterio of Judgment Day collides with Dragon Lee and Solo Sikoa while Dominik's stablemate Roxanne Perez squares off against IYO SKY and AAA Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina.

We are live! Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore greet audiences at home before throwing it to a video of the World Heavyweight Championship match last Monday.

Penta then makes his way to the ring.

Penta says last Monday was one of the biggest nights of his life and says Roman Reigns was the better man that night. He says he respects Reigns, but things between them aren't over and says he wants another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. He says it's only the beginning with Reigns, but Dominik Mysterio's music hits and he makes his way out alongside JD McDonagh.

Dominik says no one cares about Penta's dreams and says the people want to hear from someone who stood tall in Mexico like Judgment Day did. McDonagh tells Penta to get to the back of the line for a World Heavyweight Championship shot and promises Dominik will win the 2026 Men's Money In The Bank match. Dominik says Penta is just a luchador while he's the "King of the Luchadors".

Penta says the only king of luchadors is Rey Mysterio, but Dominik and McDonagh beat down Penta. Dominik and McDonagh clear the announce desk, but Penta sends McDonagh crashing into the floor with a back body drop. He lands a double crossbody on Dominik and McDonagh off the top rope.

IYO SKY then makes her way to the ring. Roxanne Perez and La Catalina both follow.

The bell rings and Perez shoves Catalina. She rolls out of the ring, but Catalina and SKY both follow Perez out. Perez slides back inside, but Catalina and SKY take turns firing off forearms on her. Catalina and SKY deliver a double dropkick to send Perez crashing out of the ring and go after one another, but SKY pins Catalina. Perez rolls up SKY, but Catalina rolls up Perez.

SKY breaks the fall, but Perez pins her and Catalina. SKY and Catalina kick out, but Perez drivers a hurricanrana to Catalina. Catalina delivers a missile dropkick to take out SKY, and Perez looks to fly out of the ring to take out SKY. SKY intercepts Perez with a right hand and delivers a springboard moonsault to level Perez on the outside. Catalina then delivers a double crossbody off the top rope to take down Perez and SKY.

Catalina fires off right hands on Perez during the commercial break, but Perez lands a chop on Catalina. Catalina dumps Perez back in the ring and pins her, but Perez kicks out and jams her boot into Catalina's neck.

Perez wears down Catalina with a submission hold and levels SKY when she tries breaking the hold, then sends Catalina crashing into SKY and lands a Russian Leg Sweep-DDT combination on SKY and Catalina back from the break. Perez looks to land a running uppercut on SKY, but SKY catches Perez with an uppercut. Perez levels SKY with a running knee, but Catalina takes out Perez with a crossbody off the top ropes.

Perez delivers a moonsault to Catalina off the middle rope, but SKY delivers a double stomp to Perez's chest and pins her. Catalina breaks the fall with a shotgun dropkick to SKY, then fires off forearms on SKY and sets up for a Gory Bomb on her. SKY responds with a Butterfly Backbreaker to Catalina and ascends to the top rope, but Perez sends her crashing into the ring post. Catalina rolls up Perez, but Perez kicks out and Catalina joins SKY on the ropes. Perez joins both women and sends Catalina crashing off the middle rope, then delivers a hurricanrana to SKY off the top rope.

Catalina runs over Perez with a Shining Wizard, and the two women exchange right hands with one another and SKY. SKY is sent crashing out of the ring, and Catalina connects with a Gory Bomb on Perez. She goes for a pin, but Perez kicks out.

SKY gets Perez and Catalina stacked on one another in the corner of the ring and delivers a double Bullet Train to them. She then looks to deliver a double Over The Moonsault to both women, but Perez rolls out of the way at the last second and SKY only hits Catalina with the move. Perez then connects with a Pop Rox on SKY and pins her for the win.

Winner: Roxanne Perez

LA Knight then makes his way to the ring. 

Knight says it's been three years since himself and Roman Reigns have gone one-on-one. He says it's been three years of scratching, clawing, and making sure he isn't in the plans, then says he's been telling people who the uncrowned World Heavyweight Champion is.

Knight says he is the plans and says he doesn't know what it is with Reigns but he always wants to be acknowledged. He says he has some things to acknowledge, then acknowledges Reigns' greatness and says he might be the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of this generation. He says he had to acknowledge his hesitance that no one can beat Reigns, then says he noticed there's been no Bloodline. He says Reigns wants to rewrite his legacy as a dominant World Heavyweight Champion who can do it alone, then says he will make his opportunity at Money In The Bank.

Knight says he never needed anyone to help him win matches, then says he's the most self made wrestler in WWE. He acknowledges Reigns acknowledging him as the new World Heavyweight Champion at Money In The Bank.

Je'Von Evans then makes his way to the ring. The Vision follows.

The bell rings and the two men go tumbling out of the ring. Breakker dumps Evans back in the ring, but Evans flies though the middle rope with a dive to level Breakker on the outside. Breakker fires off shoulders on Evans' midsection in the corner, but Evans dumps Breakker into the timekeeper's area.

Breakker and Eveans return to the ring, but Breakker levels Evans with a clothesline during the commercial break and wears him down with a submission hold. Breakker lands a hurricanrana on Evans to send him crashing off the middle rope, but Evans levels Breakker with a clothesline off the ropes.

Breakker sets up for a Gorilla Press on Evans, but Evans counters into a DDT and sends Breakker crashing into the mat with a Sliced Bread on him.

Maxxine Dupri distracts the referee as Austin Theory looks to level Evans. Evans sends Theory crashing off the ring apron, but Breakker lands a spinning slam on Evans and pins him. Evans kicks out and Breakker charges at him, but Evans sends Breakker crashing into the middle turnbuckle. Theory, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul then slide into the ring to cause the disqualification.

Winner: Je'Von Evans (via disqualification)

After the match, The Vision beats dwon Evans until Oba Femi's music hits and he runs out to even the odds. He grabs a chair Paul tries to use and hits Theory and Breakker with it, but Reed takes back the chair and looks to use it. Femi levels Reed with an uppercut and cracks the chair across Reed's spine, and Evans flies over the top rope to take out The Vision on the outside.

Judgment Day then makes their way to the ring.

JD McDonagh says he has something to get off his chest and says Joe Hendry mocking him by comparing him to a Funko Pop is sad. He says it has to end tonight and says he has a normal sized head before Raquel Rodriguez calls the live crowd haters. She says Liv Morgan's "Trouble, Trouble" music video was far better than Hendry's new one that was shown earlier, and Morgan says tonight is about gratitude. She says Judgment Day embarrassed Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, Rey Mysterio, and El Grande Americano in Mexico, then says the only thing that would've made it better is if she won her Women's World Championship back.

Morgan says the "Santiago Screwjob" will "forever be one of the greatest tragedies in WWE", then calls Vaquer to the ring to give her a Women's World Championship rematch. Becky Lynch's music hits and she appears in the crowd, saying "The Man" has come around to San Antonio. She takes a shot at McDonagh, but says Referee Rebecca might be the greatest referee of all time as everyone is saying. She says it's time for Morgan to get to the back of the line for a Women's World Championship match.

Vaquer's music hits and she makes her way out. She says she won the Women's World Championship on her own, but Morgan says she only won the title because of Lynch's referring. She grants Morgan and Lynch Women's World Championship matches.

Bayley then makes her way to the ring. Lyra Valkyria follows.

Bayley knocks Valkyria off the ring apron and delivers a crossbody to her off the ring apron. She rains down right hands on Valkyria and sends her crashing into the barricade spine first, then dumps her in the ring.

The bell sounds and Bayley drapes Valkyria off the top rope. She lands a knee on the side of her face and looks to fly, but Valkyria intercepts Bayley with a right hand and looks to level her with a leg lariat. Bayley catches it and lands a suplex on Valkyria, but Valkyria monkey flips Bayley into the corner of the ring and ascends to the top rope. She delivers a leg drop to Bayley and pins her, but Bayley kicks out and rocks Valkyria with a right hand.

Valkyria sits Bayley on the top rope and joins her up there, but Bayley fends off Valkyria. She lands an elbow drop on Valkyria and pins her, but Valkyria kicks out and Bayley delivers three more elbow drops on her.

Back from the break, Valkyria locks in a sleeper on Bayley. She sends Bayley crashing into the mat and pins her, but Bayley kicks out and the action spills out of the ring. Bayley sends Valkyria crashing over the announce desk. The referee beats a ten count, but both women beat it. Valkyria then rolls up Bayley for the win.

Winner: Lyra Valkyria

Adam Pearce introduces Lola Vice as the newest member of the "Raw" roster, and she makes her way to the ring. She shares some of her story with the WWE Universe with the influence her mother and father have had on her, then says her fists don't lie. Roxanne Perez makes her way out and says she'll show Vice why she's levels below her at Money In The Bank. Perez shoves Vice, but Vice levels Perez. 

We then head backstage and see Paul Heyman keeping his eye on Vice from backstage. Bron Breakker passes Heyman, and Heyman tells Breakker that Oba Femi is still breathing which is bad for The Vision. Breakker says he's also still breating and that's bad for everyone. 

Solo Sikoa's music hits, but he doesn't make his way out. We instead see The 946 blindside him from behind, throw him into the trunk of a car, and drive away as The Bloodline and LA Knight are in pursuit. Adam Pearce and officials arrive at the scene during the commercial break. 

Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee then make their way out to the ring, with Pearce following both men to announce he's made the decision for Penta to replace Sikoa in the upcoming match. Penta then makes his way down to the ring. 

The bell rings and Penta and Lee double team on Dominik. Lee dumps Dominik out of the ring, but Penta flies over the top rope to level Lee on the outside. Dominik connects with a chop on Penta, then uses the ropes to land double stomps on his chest during the commercial break.

Dominik uses Lee's mask to tie him to one of the ropes and fires off stomps on him, then whips him into opposite corners spine first. Lee delivers a powerbomb to Dominik and pins him, but Dominik kicks out.

Penta rocks Lee with an enzuigiri as Lee teeters on the ropes, but Lee delivers a double stomp to Dominik. Penta connects with a modified Broncon Buster on Dominik and Lee follows it up with a single leg dropkick from the ring apron. Dominik dials it up for a 619 on Lee, but Penta catches Dominik with a Penta Driver and pins him. Dominik kicks out, but Lee delivers a Tornado DDT to Penta and levels him with a back elbow.

Dominik ascends to the top rope and looks to fly, but Penta sees him coming and Lee delivers a Styles Clash to Dominik. Lee pins Dominik, but Penta kicks out and lands a Mexican Destroyer on Lee on the ring apron. Dominik dials it up for a 619 on Penta and delivers a Frog Splash to Penta off the top rope, then goes for a pin but Penta kicks out.

Dominik exposes the top turnbuckle, but Penta sends him crashing into it face first and follows it up with a springboard Mexican Destroyer for the win.

Winner: Penta
