MLW Announces Streaming Deal With Tubi

Major League Wrestling has scored a deal with Tubi, years after filing an antitrust lawsuit against WWE after the company allegedly kept MLW off the platform. The promotion's flagship show, "MLW Fusion" will air on Tubi Thursday nights.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news of the deal Thursday morning. The outlet reported that "Fusion" will air for free on the streaming service beginning tonight at 8 p.m. EST, and will continue to air in the same timeslot each week. The length of the deal was not revealed in the report.

MLW just recently revived "Fusion," bringing the show back after a three-year hiatus in May 2026. Prior to the Tubi deal, the show had been airing for free on YouTube. As noted in the Hollywood Reporter report, MLW CEO Court Bauer is adamant that wrestling should be accessible to all. Tubi reportedly has around 110 million monthly users.

"We built MLW around that, no paywalls, no subscription barriers, nothing standing between a fan and the show, and Tubi shares that same fan-first philosophy at scale," Bauer told THR.

MLW filed its antitrust lawsuit against WWE in January 2022, alleging the bigger company pressured third parties, including Tubi, which is owned by Fox, to abandon contracts and relationships with MLW. The suit alleged Stephanie McMahon was the WWE official who convinced Tubi to end its deal with the promotion, as "WWE SmackDown" was airing on Fox at the time. The companies didn't reach a settlement in the suit until December 2023.

It was revealed the following February, in a TKO Group Holds earnings report, that the settlement cost WWE $20 million. MLW wasn't named, but the report cited the "antitrust lawsuit at WWE."
