WWE Raw Results 8/24 - Stephanie Vaquer Faces Roxanne Perez, Contract Signing & More

Along with Becky Lynch, Stephanie Vaquer has been after Liv Morgan's Women's World Championship over the last several weeks. As she continues her quest to become a two time titleholder, she will be going head-to-head with Morgan's Judgment Day stablemate Roxanne Perez. Vaquer called out Morgan to brawl with her during last Monday's edition of "Raw". Morgan, Perez, and Women's Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez subsequently appeared, leading to a verbal confrontation that turned physical. Lynch came to Vaquer's aid, but an argument between the two women opened the door for Judgment Day to regain the upperhand.

Oba Femi and one half of the World Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker will be making their match for WWE Sunday Night's Main Event on September 6 official tonight when they put pen-to-paper and sign the contract for the match. Amidst the rising tensions between Breakker and his manager Paul Heyman, the former asked the latter last Monday who he thought the future of WWE really was between himself and Femi. Before Heyman could give his answer, Femi made his way out to the ring and a verbal confrontation ensued between him and Breakker.

Both semifinals matches in the World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contenders Tournament are set to be held tonight, as former Intercontinental Champion Penta collides with AAA star La Parka and AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix squares off against Dragon Lee. Penta defeated one half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions Laredo Kid in the first round of the tournament, while La Parka emerged victorious against fellow AAA star Psycho Clown, Fenix scored a win against AAA's El Fiscal, and Lee beat AAA's El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. to advance to the semifinals.

Additionally, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight will both be making appearances on tonight's show. Although Sikoa was delivered to World Heavyweight Champion and leader of The Bloodline Roman Reigns last Monday following a loss to Jey Uso on the August 20 episode of "Raw", LA Knight crashed things. The Bloodline quickly overpowered Knight when he launched an attack on them, but Sikoa opted not to deliver a Samoan Spike on Knight when ordered by Reigns to do so and instead delivered it to Reigns to definitively decline rejoining his twin brothers and cousin.

We are live! Michael Cole and Corey Graves greet audiences at home before throwing it to a video of what went down between The Bloodline, LA Knight, and Solo Sikoa last Monday.

Knight then makes his way out to the ring.

Knight says he wants to talk to the fans, then says he wants to talk about a capital C coward in Roman Reigns standing in the capital city of Canada. He says Reigns won on his own at WWE SummerSlam, then questions why he's been sending all his family after him to keep him away. He says Reigns told him to win a tournament to earn a shot at his World Heavyweight Championship, then says if he's fighting his way to the World Heavyweight Championship, he might have to get his hands dirty in some family business.

Solo Sikoa appears in the crowd and says he wants to talk to Knight, then thanks Knight for helping him out last Monday and says no one would've thought they'd be teaming up two years ago. He says Knight could've told him no, but he said yeah instead. Knight says he let Sikoa get away with two of his catchphrases, but issues a warning shot to him.

The Usos' music hits, and Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso make their way out. Jimmy says he bets Sikoa thought it was funny to go against his own brothers and land a Samoan Spike on Reigns, then says Sikoa has consequences coming his way. Jey issues a warning shot to Sikoa, but Sikoa ducks it in the ring and challenges The Usos to a tag team match tonight on behalf of himself and Knight. Sikoa issues a warning shot to The Usos.

Stephanie Vaquer then makes her way to the ring. Judgment Day follows.

The bell rings and Perez slaps Vaquer. Perez rolls out of the ring, but Vaquer chases her back inside. Perez catches Vaquer with a kick on her midsection and fires off stomps on her head, then slaps Vaquer once again. Vaquer returns the favor and wears down Perez's right arm, but Perez sends Vaquer crashing out of the ring and sends her crashing into the barricade. She then sends her crashing into another one of the barricades midsection first.

Perez wears down Vaquer inside the ring using her legs and the middle rope during the commercial break, then fires off a stomp on her and rains down right hands on her. She cinches in a submission on her, but Vaquer sends Perez crashing into the corner of the ring repeatedly spine first to escape the hold.

Perez pins Vaquer back from the break, but Vaquer kicks out and wears down Perez with a submission hold.

Vaquer delivers a boot to Perez's midsection, then connects with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker on him and connects with The Devil's Kiss. She lands a Dragon Screw on Perez and follows it up with a meteora, but Perez grabs onto the ring skirt. As the referee fixes it, Perez rakes Vaquer's eyes and sends her crashing into the mat face first. She follows it up with a Shining Wizard on her and goes for a pin, but Vaquer kicks out.

Vaquer ascends to the top rope, but Liv Morgan trips her up as Raquel Rodriguez distracts the referee. Becky Lynch's music hits and she makes her way out. Vaquer sends Morgan crashing into the ring steps and stares dwon Lynch, openign the door for Perez to land another Shining Wizard on her and set up for a moonsault off the ropes. Vaquer avoids it and delivers a butterfly backbreaker-lungblower combination to Perez for the win.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer

After the match, Lynch stares down Vaquer and leaves the ring.

We then head backstage, where Je'Von Evans quickly takes out Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh when they confront him and Rey Mysterio.

Back at ringside, Rey Fenix makes his way out. Dragon Lee follows.

The bell rings and Lee lands a single leg dropkick on Fenix over the top rope and from the ring apron. Fenix lands a Goodbye Amigo on Lee and follows it up with a crossbody to him off the top rope, then delivers a springboard moonsault to Lee off the ropes. Lee lands a tope con hilo on Fenix over the top rope and on the outside, then wears him down with a submission hold back inside the ring during the commercial break.

Fenix lands a double leg drop on Lee and pins him, but Lee kicks out and the two men exchange chops with one another back from the break. He follows it up with a sit-out powerbomb on Fenix, but Fenix lands a springboard moonsault on Lee and pins him.

Lee kicks out and sends Fenix's face repeatedly bouncing off the top turnbuckle, then delivers a double stomp to Fenix's midsection as Fenix is draped off the top rope by his knees. Fenix rolls up Lee, but Lee kicks out and lands an overhand chop on Fenix. Lee trips up Fenix on the announce desk to send him crashing into it face first, then lands a cannonball on Fenix through the second rope to send Fenix crashing over the announce desk.

Fenix lands a Brainbuster on Lee in the middle of the ring and lands a meteora on him in the corner. He sets up for the Mexican Muscle Buster on Lee, but Lee rolls up Fenix. Fenix kicks out, but Lee catches him with a Styles Clash and goes for a pin. Fenix kicks out once again, then lands a cutter on Lee and rocks him with a superkick. He follows it up with a Mexican Muscle Buster on Lee for the win.

Winner: Rey Fenix

After the match, Fenix and Lee hug one another. Lee raises Fenix's hand. 

We then head over to a video teasing the "Raw" debut of "NXT" star Lola Vice on September 14. 

Adam Pearce introduces Femi and Paul Heyman introduces Breakker, and they make their way to the ring. Pearce slides the contract over to Breakker, and Breakker asks Femi who he thinks he is claiming to be the future when 'he hasn't earned it'. He says Femi won the 2026 King of the Ring and squashed a bunch of people, but those aren't championships. He says he got hurt and took himself out since no one in the back was man enough, then says Femi weasled his way into the spot that he held.

Femi asks Breakker why he's so angry and says he thinks it's because Breakker believes that he underestimates him. He says he doesn't underestimate Breakker and says if Breakker had debuted in 2002 or 2015, he would be the face of the future of WWE. He says it's 2026 and Breakker has the unfortunate privilege of running against him.

Breakker says Femi will be the wrestler in the ring who thought he could compete with a big dog like him, then says he'll own Femi in the ring and Femi will live in his shadow for the rest of his career. He says he'll be the guy that Femi could not beat and signs the contract.

Breakker asks Femi if he'll sign the contract himself or if Heyman will do it for him. He tells Heyman to sign the contract for Femi and says he's been acting like Femi's manager as he's been taking the backseat, then blindsides Femi with a forearm as he gets in Heyman's face.

Heyman leaves the ring as Femi fires off right hands on Breakker. Breakker responds with several of his own, but Austin Theory comes to Breakker's aid. Femi quickly gains the upperhand once again to send Theory crashing through the table in the ring, then picks up the contract and tells Breakker that he's running away from him on September 6. He signs the contract and throws it out of the ring to where Breakker is standing at the bottom of the entrance ramp.

We then head backstage, where Jacob Fatu argues with The Usos. Jey reminds Fatu that The Usos call the plays after Reigns gave them their Ula Fala's last Monday and tells him to stay in the back for his and Jimmy's tag team match later. Fatu appears visibly angry when The Usos walk off. 

Je'Von Evans then makes his way out. Big Cass follows. 

The bell rings and Evans rocks Cass with a superkick. Evans sends Cass crashing into the ring apron, but Cass clotheslines Evans out of the other side of the ring and sends Evans crashing into the barricade spine first.

Cass intercepts Evans with an East River Crossing, then whips Evans into the corner spine first and lands a splash on him during the commercial break. He lands a bodyslam on Evans, but Evans low bridges Cass out of the ring and flies through the ropes to take out Cass on the outside.

Evans fires off strikes on Cass, then dumps him into the timekeeper's area and flies over it to send Cass crashing into a chair. He dumps Cass inside the ring and lands a kick on him, then levels him with a clothesline off the top rope and ascends to the top rope. Cass pushes him off, then runs over Evans with a big boot for the win.

Winner: Big Cass

After the match, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh blindside Evans with an attack. Dominik delivers a Frog Splash to Evans. 

We then head backstage, where Jackie Redmond catches up with Sol Ruca. IYO SKY crashes things to congratulate Ruca, but Lyra Valkyria interrupts the pair looking to take Ruca's Women's Intercontinental Championship match away from her. Ruca refuses and tells Valkyria to earn her title shot. 

Back from the break, Penta makes his way out. La Parka follows. 

The bell rings and Parka delivers a hurricanrana to Penta. Penta catches Parka with a superkick to his head, then rocks him with an enzuigiri. Parka ascends up the ropes, but Penta intercepts him with a superkick mid-air and catches him with a second one. Penta then delivers a backstabber to Parka and pins him, but Parka kicks out.

Penta fires off a couple of right hands on Parka's midsection during the commercial break, but Parka lands a crossbody on Penta off the top rope. He follows it up with a powerslam and goes for a pin, but Penta kicks out and dropkicks Parka into the corner of the ring. He follows it up with a modified Bronco Buster, but Parka catches Penta with a Tornado DDT and pins him.

Penta kicks out, then delivers a superkick to Parka and follows it up with a Penta Driver. He goes for a pin, but Penta kicks out and Parka delivers a Spanish Fly to him off the top rope. Penta responds with a springboard Mexican Destroyer to Parka for the win.

Winner: Penta

After the match, Rey Fenix emerges to stare down Penta. The two brothers shake hands and touch foreheads as a show of respect. 

We then head backstage and see a verbal confrontation ensue between Chad Gable and Ethan Page as Page looks to get an Intercontinental Championship match. Gable stops Page and says Page already had his opportunity, then says Page talked his way out out of a championship match instead of doing what he intended and receiving one. 

We then head elsewhere backstage, where Jackie Redmond informs Stephanie Vaquer that she will challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship in two weeks time. 

Back at ringside, The Usos make their way out. Solo Sikoa and LA Knight follow. 

Jimmy Uso and Knight begin the action. The bell rings and Knight levels Jimmy with a clothesline. Sikoa tags in and levels Jimmy with a double back elbow along with Knight. Sikoa then follows it up with a headbutt to Jimmy and fires off stomps on him before Knight tags in and follows suit.

Sikoa tags back in and delivers a Hip Attack to Jey (who has tagged in on his side), then rocks him with a headbutt. Jimmy tags back in during the commercial break and fires off stomps on Sikoa in the corner, but Jey tags in and follows suit. He lands an elbow strike on Sikoa, but Jimmy tags in and The Usos double team on Sikoa.

Knight tags in back from the break and lands a neckbreaker on Jimmy. He levels Jey on the ring apron with a clothesline, but Jimmy rolls him up. Knight kicks out, then lands an elbow drop off the middle rope on Jimmy and pins him. Jey breaks the fall, but Royce Keys spears Jey and Sikoa through the barricade on the outside to cause the disqualification.

Winners: N/A (no contest due to outside interference)

"NXT" stars Bronco Nima and Lucien Price of OTM beat down The Usos inside the ring. OTM lands a double neckbreaker on Knight, and Keys connects with a spinebuster on Jimmy. Nima and Price throw Jey and Sikoa over to Keys to hit them with the ring steps, then send Jimmy crashing through the announce desk. Keys and OTM stand tall in the ring as The Usos, Sikoa, Knight are laid out on the outside and the show goes off the air.
