TNA Thursday Night iMPACT Results 4/2 - TNA Knockouts World Championship Up For Grabs, Bunkhouse Match
Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s results for "TNA Thursday Night iMPACT" on April 2, 2026, coming to you from the Alario Center in New Orleans, Louisiana!
"NXT" star Arianna Grace may have retained the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Dani Luna and Léi Yǐng Lee in a Triple Threat Match at TNA Sacrifice on March 27 in what marked her first defense since retaining against Jody Threat on the March 5 episode of "Thursday Night iMPACT". Tonight, Grace will be putting the TNA Knockouts World Championship on the line once again as Lee's ally Xia Brookside challenges her for the title.
Speaking of Threat, she will be competing in a match of her own when she goes head-to-head with The Diamond Collective's Tessa Blanchard in a Bunkhouse Match. The two women have met one another in the ring on numerous occasions dating back to the June 12 episode of "Thursday Night iMPACT", including last Thursday's episode of the show when Blanchard and her stablemates Victoria Crawford and Mila Moore defeated Threat, Harley Hudson, and Myla Grace and the Countdown to Sacrifice pre-show when Blanchard emerged victorious against Threat.
Mike Santana put his TNA World Championship on the line against his newfound rival Steve Maclin at Sacrifice, but ultimately retained his title when the match was ruled a No Contest due to interference at the hands of The System's Eddie Edwards. With Eddie having gone after Santana in his TNA World Championship Sacrifice match, Santana will be appearing in the opening moments of tonight's show with something on his mind to share.
One half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions Jeff Hardy and The Righteous' Vincent came up short to The System's Cedric Alexander and Brian Myers at Sacrifice, with the other half of the TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy being medically unable to compete after a mystery attacker took him out backstage on last Thursday's episode of "Thursday Night iMPACT". Following both of those events, The Hardys are set to make an appearance on tonight's show.
Additionally, The Home Town Man will be squaring off with AJ Francis after the after and Frankie Kazarian scored a win against the former and Elijah at Sacrifice.
We are live! Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt greet audiences at home as Mike Santana makes his way to the ring.
We Hear From Mike Santana
Santana asks New Orleans what's good, then says he stepped into the ring at Sacrifice and went to battle with Steve Maclin. He says Maclin is undoubtedly one of the toughest men in the professional wrestling business, but he dropped him. He says his father told him to live his life and be a man of his word when he was growing up, then says he's lived his life since that way and says he kept his word in saying he stepped in and out of Sacrifice as TNA World Championship. Santana then addresses Eddie Edwards and reminds fans that Eddie will be cashing in his Feast or Fired contract to challenge him for the TNA World Championship at TNA Rebellion on April 11.
The System's music hits, and Eddie makes his way out along with Cedric Alexander. He asks Santana if he remembers what happened between them last Thursday, then says the same thing will happen on April 11 and says Rebellion will be known as the night of The System. He says TNA will be run by The System when he dethroned Santana as TNA World Champion at Rebellion, but Santana says Eddie doesn't believe his own words. He says Eddie would fight him if he believed his own words, but Alexander intervenes and invites Santana to calm down and take a breath.
Alexander says Santana should take solace knowing that he won't be the only person to lose a championship at Sacrifice, then says he'll be the new X-Division Championship at Rebellion.
Leon Slater's music hits, and he makes his way out. He says Alexander won't easily dethrone him as X-Division Champion at Rebellion, then reminds Alexander he beat him in a match 9 months ago. He says The System will have the World Tag Team Championship, X-Division Championship, and TNA World Championship after Rebellion.

He says it will be the night of The System, but also the night of Order 4 and says everyone is looking at the next TNA International Champion in him.
Trey Miguel's music hits, and he makes his way out. Miguel says the rule of thumb seems to be that if someone says your name, you step up. He calls Ali a coward and says what Ali did at Sacrifice is something a real man wouldn't do. He says Ali hides behind numbers, then challenges Ali to face him alone in their International Championship at Rebellion and says Ali won't dethrone him.
Santana says there's been enough talking, then challenges Eddie, Alexander, and Ali to a Six Man Tag Team Match on behalf of himself, Slater, and Miguel. Ali says Order 4 and The System have numbers, but Moose's music hits and he makes his way out along with Alisha Edwards. Moose takes out Jason Hotch and John Skyler, but TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella makes his way out to instead make an Eight Man Tag Team Match pitting Eddie, Alexander, Ali, and Special Agent 0 against Santana, Slater, Miguel, and Moose.

The Righteous Confront The Hardys
Matt Hardy says Sacrifice was a realization and says The Righteous did exactly what himself and Jeff Hardy expected them to do by turning their backs on them. He says himself, Jeff, Dutch, and Vincent could've been a great stable, but they turned out to be his attackers. Jeff says Vincent and Dutch made a mistake rather than a sacrifice with all their fake smiles and Vincent letting him paint his face, then says the talk about brotherhood is dead.
The Righteous' music hits, and Vincent and Dutch make their way out. Vincent says The Hardys and The Righteous are still family, but what himself and Dutch did was for The Hardys. He says Matt is running from his true broken self, then says The Hardys have something that himself and Dutch want. He says Matt's broken self may be buried, but it's still breathing.
Matt once again challenges The Righteous to get in the ring with himself and Jeff, and Vincent says while that sounds like a wonderful idea, it won't be tonight. Dutch says things must be done in the way of extreme, and Jeff agrees to the stipulation as he says that himself and Matt will be defending the TNA World Tag Team Championship against The Righteous in a Tables Match.
