AEW's CJ Perry Says Goals Lie Outside Ring, But She's Willing To 'Fight Some B****es'
While she initially entered WWE as a manager, CJ Perry (fka Lana) eventually began wrestling as well during the latter half of her WWE career. Since debuting for All Elite Wrestling last month, Perry has reprised her role as a manager, recently opening up her services for new clients.
During a recent episode of "Insight With Chris Van Vliet," Perry confirmed her intention to make more contributions outside the ring. But if a situation warrants her to get physical, she isn't afraid to lay down some punches on the women of AEW.
"I want to be the best of all time, I want to be the best wrestling manager of all time. People often want to be managed by Paul Heyman, because he is the best manager of all time right now," said Perry. "I want to be in that spot, and so I want people to be like, 'I want CJ Perry to manage me.' I would rather do that than try to become champion or fight for championships, and be the best hustler for those people to be champions, and create a legacy and a name that way. I just feel that's my calling. So if at some point, I gotta fight some b****es in the ring, of course, I'll fight some b***es in the ring."
As Perry looks to expand her managerial clientele, she's recently received an inquiry from Action Andretti, while Perry also sought out Andrade El Idolo following his loss to Bryan Danielson on last week's episode of "AEW Collision."
