Why Bully Ray Would Put The WWE United States Title On Logan Paul 'In A Heartbeat'

Influencer, boxer, and WWE Superstar Logan Paul is set to face WWE Hall of Famer and United States Champion Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel on November 4. On the latest "Busted Open Radio," Bully Ray made it clear that he thinks Paul is the future of the US title division.

"I would throw the United States Championship around Logan Paul's waist in a heartbeat," Bully professed. "It's just good for business ... such high visibility, especially outside the WWE. This is where that whole social media following comes in. Paul has done a fantastic job in the ring. He's done a good job on the microphone. He's a heat-seeking missile."

The WWE Hall of Famer also believes that Paul's story with Rey Mysterio gives stakes to an event that desperately needs them as he thinks Roman Reigns defeating LA Knight to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship is a forgone conclusion. Once Reigns's title reign ends, so too does the story between Cody and Roman that WWE has invested so much time and effort into. 

"You didn't invest in Roman Reigns for him to drop the strap in [Saudi Arabia]...and derail everything," Bully said. The former TNA World Champion thinks that Knight losing to Reigns could set Knight up to defeat Logan Paul in the future, noting that as a divisive US Champion, Paul would be the perfect foil for the fan-favorite Knight.

Paul called out Rey Mysterio at the conclusion of his boxing match with Dillon Danis, which Paul won soundly.
