- Above is from 2002 when Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman) came to the ring for the first time as WWE Champion. Lesnar defeated The Rock at SummerSlam to win the title.
- Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton will take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at tonight's Clash of Champions PPV. The match will also involve Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, who will both be referees, and if Zayn and Owens lose, they're fired from WWE. Last night, Nakamura had a message for his opponents.
"Tomorrow night. Clash of Champions. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens I have two words for you guys. You're fired!"
- Baron Corbin will be defending his U.S. Championship against Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler at tonight's PPV. All three commented on the upcoming match, with Corbin saying it's all about the gold, Roode looking to make the US Title glorious, and Ziggler joking about what his wrestling gear will look like.
