On tonight's episode of Impact, Knockouts Champion Gail Kim relinquished her title, after retiring from in-ring competition. "Almost 18 years ago, I was a young woman growing up in Canada, and I loved wrestling. I saw these women wrestling and that's what I wanted to do," Kim said.

Kim held back tears and talked about through hard work and sacrifice that dreams can come true. Kim thanked Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly, Awesome Kong, and Taryn Terrell for helping her along the way. No word yet on what Impact plans to do with the vacant title.

Kim was able to win the title for the seventh time at Bound for Glory against Sienna and Allie, and was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2016.
