Kenny Omega Booked For ROH Show, Samoa Joe (Video), ROH's TV Audience Expanding?, NJPW WK12 Tickets

- Above is an ROH Throwback Thursday match between Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Jay Lethal, and BJ Whitmer. Lethal would pick up the win after a diving headbutt on Christopher Daniels.

- In a Los Angeles Times article, it looks like ROH's parent company, Sinclair Broadcast Group, is a bit closer to taking over Tribune Media. A vote was cast by Tribune's shareholders and more than 99% were in favor of the deal to bring Sinclair into the fold. What this would mean for Ring of Honor is being in 108 total TV markets – 39 of the top 50 – and it would cover about 72% of U.S. homes. The deal would still need to be reviewed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), but if it does happen, ROH will be available to an even wider audience on weekly basis.

- As noted, the English site selling Wrestle Kingdom 12 tickets quickly sold out for the January 4 show. NJPW announced they have extras on the way and will be selling them again, beginning tonight at 11pm ET. If you're interested in buying tickets, here's the site to go to when they become available.

- On November 17, NXT and ROH will both be running shows in San Antonio, TX. For NXT, Shawn Michaels will be the special guest referee for NXT Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Adam Cole. Not to be outdone, ROH has now booked Kenny Omega for that same night at Survival of the Fittest. There will be a three night tournament (taking place in Dallas on November 18 and Oklahoma City on November 19) to decide who the Survival of the Fittest winner is and they will also receive an ROH World Championship match at a later date.
