Shinsuke Nakamura Wants AJ Styles At WrestleMania, Styles Responds, Cricket - WrestleMania Promotion
- Yahoo Sports Japan has a story here about comments Shinsuke Nakamura made about WrestleMania during a media conference call this week. Nakamura noted that he would like to face AJ Styles at the event if the opportunity arose.
"It the [WrestleMania] opportunity presented itself, I want to do it," Nakamura said (h/t to Chris Charlton for the transcription). "AJ doesn't have an opponent yet, I'd like to fill that spot. I've achieved a lot this year, but there's much more to do. I want to make more strides over the next year and show my true ability."
- Styles responded to Nakamura and explained why the match won't happen, citing tonight's battle royal on SmackDown to determine who will face WWE Champion Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania:
