- Inside Edition ran the story above about former WWE star Shad Gaspard taking down a gun-wielding robber at a gas station in Florida last week. As noted, Gaspard pinned the robber down until police arrived.

"I put him in rear choke then I took him down to floor as fast as I could," Gaspard told Inside Edition.

Gaspard has been getting a lot of media for his heroic deed, including stories at The New York Post, The Washington Post, SI.com and The Miami Herald.

- UFC star Paige VanZant recently spoke with Maxim to promote last night's fight with Michelle Waterson, which VanZant lost via submission in the first round. During the interview, she discussed possibly working with WWE down the line.

"The WWE is an amazing organization," VanZant said. "I'm a UFC fighter right now, but my future has no limits. Can't wait to see what I accomplish next."

VanZant also revealed that she is a huge wrestling fan and that The Rock is her favorite wrestler.

"I am a huge wrestling fan," VanZant said. "I would say The Rock is my favorite person to watch for obvious reasons."
