Goldberg On What Might Have Caused Him To Trip On RAW, Getting Hurt Training For Brock Lesnar Match

As noted, Bill Goldberg made the media rounds yesterday to promote this Sunday's WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. As seen in the video above, Goldberg spoke to Lee Hawkins of The Wall Street Journal.

During the interview, Goldberg discussed his training for his match with Brock Lesnar. Goldberg said that he has been training 2-3 times each day, and has been eating 8-10 meals daily. He said that he's been in the wrestling ring and has done things that he hasn't done "in a long period of time."

He also admitted that he didn't know if he was doing enough, or too much to prepare for the match. He said that he's been "getting hurt along the way," and said that the over-training may have been why he tripped in the ring during his second appearance on RAW.

"I tripped in the ring in my second appearance back, and I don't do that," Goldberg said. "I kinda attributed it to overtraining. Maybe something like that had to happen to tell me that I was overtraining. God has a very special way of letting us know what he wants. It was a sign for me, and I backed off a little bit."
