Jerry Lawler Says Bellator President Scott Coker Reminds Him Of Vince McMahon

Bellator MMA is currently invading the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee tonight for Bellator 162: Shlemenko vs Grove. Memphis wrestling legend Jerry "The King" Lawler recently appeared on an episode of The MMA Hour this week, to discuss the event. In the interview, Lawler discusses Bellator's president Scott Coker, talking about the comparisons that he sees between Coker and Vince McMahon.

"Scott Coker, the President of Bellator MMA reminds me so much of Vince McMahon, especially recently with the new signings that he's doing," said Lawler. "We had the brand split, we've got Raw and SmackDown Live separated now, and they're calling this a new era, bringing in all of these young guys and young women from NXT, which is their new training facility. All these guys are making that jump," Lawler added. "It's the same thing with Bellator. A ton of new guys have been signed by Scott Coker. It reminds me so much of the same type of building up the same type enthusiasm, and the fans there at Bellator, that we have in WWE."

During his appearance, Lawler also talked about how he got hooked up with Bellator, the impact of professional wrestling in Memphis, and more. You can listen to the full interview in the above video, or at this link.
