- Former UFC champion B.J. Penn's return to the Octagon will come at UFC Fight Night 97 and in the Philippines, as he takes on Ricardo Lamas in a featherweight affair. The UFC made the fight official, as it will be the main event for the October 15 card from the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Manila.

Penn (16-10-2) has not fought since a 2014 loss to Frankie Edgar, which was his third consecutive defeat. The 37-year-old announced plans earlier this year to fight again after his "retirement," but the use of an IV forced him off the UFC 200 card.

Lamas (16-5) is a former UFC title contender who has posted a 7-3 record overall inside the Octagon. The entire card will air live on UFC Fight Pass.

- The long-rumored UFC 204 card is now official for October 8, as Michael Bisping makes his first middleweight title defense vs. Dan Henderson in England. To allow for the main card to air live on pay-per-view, the card will kickoff in Manchester and the Manchester Arena at 11 p.m. local time (7 p.m. ET in North America).
