Photo Of The Shield's Shields That Never Made TV, WWE Prospect Talks Tryout, Bobby Roode's Theme

- The Monitor has an article here about independent wrestler Victoria Gonzalez, who recently had a tryout with WWE. She noted that she's "waiting for some feedback" and hopes to be hearing from them soon. Gonzales, who submitted a video of herself for Tough Enough last year but failed to make the show, talked about how grueling the tryouts can be.

"You learn pretty much what it takes," Victoria said. "It is definitely a mental breaker going in there. There were a few people who pretty much just started crying. Breaking down. It was a tougher workout than what they thought."

- Bobby Roode's NXT theme, Glorious Domination, is now available on Spotify at this link.

- As noted, Dean Ambrose appeared on Steve Austin's podcast last night and discussed The Shield breaking up, saying that they split up at the right time. He also noted that the group were originally supposed to debut with actual shields. As we reported in 2014, Roman Reigns had appeared on Coaster Boy Josh's podcast before WrestleMania 30 and discussed the proposed idea.

"We just pictured trying to get in the ring with these things," Reigns said, who admitted that the idea was lame. "For years now, you go into the ring a certain way, and you're not usually carrying a huge, plastic shield."

Reigns said that they were worried when they were going to make their WWE debut about not being able to get into the ring with the shields. Before they went out, Vince asked them if they were "wussies" to be needing shields, and they replied no.

"Good, leave them," Vince said.
