Kurt Angle's Brother Pleads Guilty To Killing Wife

David told police in September that he had gotten into a big argument with Donna, 57, after he refused an offer of Vodka from her. He said that Donna tried to kick him, and he countered by placing his foot on her chest and pulling back on her arms. She lost consciousness and was never revived.

"It was really a product of alcohol," defense attorney Bill Diffenderfer told Pittsburgh's Action News 4. "And there was a domestic fight where she started smacking him and he stopped her from doing that. His knees were on her chest and basically she suffocated. And he was intoxicated as well and it was almost accidental."

David Angle remains in the Allegheny County Jail and could face up to 10 years in prison when he's sentenced on September 20. Difenderfer told News 4 that his sentence will likely be closer to two years due to sentencing guidelines.
