Interesting Trivia Regarding The Shield Running WWE

As far as WWE World Heavyweight Championship matches go, The Shield have dominated the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture.

One of our longtime readers noted that every televised WWE Championship match since the 2015 Royal Rumble has had at least one member of The Shield involved. Several have had two members, while one had all three. In contrast, John Cena has only been in two televised WWE Championship matches in that period.

* Dean Ambrose pinned Seth Rollins last night at WWE Money In The Bank for his first WWE Championship title reign.
