WWE Smackdown Recap (6/16): MITB 6-Man Tag, AJ Styles Vs. Xavier Woods, Fatal Four Way Match, More

- Chris Jericho is out for the Highlight Reel, and talks about how his carpet is $20,000. Dean Ambrose comes out and argues with Jericho, but they're interrupted by Kevin Owens, then Alberto Del Rio, then Cesaro, then Sami Zayn. Ambrose then pours something all over Jericho's carpet, causing Y2J to throw a fit.

Fatal 4-Way
Big Cass (w/ Enzo Amore) vs. Aiden English (w/ Simon Gotch) vs. Kofi Kingston (w/ New Day) vs. Luke Gallows (w/ Karl Anderson)

All four guys go at it, and Gallows dumps Cass to the outside where he and English double team him. Big Cass battles back and clears the ring, but it leaves an opening for Kofi to hit Trouble in Paradise on English to pick up the win.

Winner: Kofi Kingston via pinfall (Trouble in Paradise)

- Natalya and Becky Lynch are backstage expressing how they're best pals. They say they tried to make Dana Brooke see the light. Charlotte comes up and says Dana does see the light, which is why she hangs out with the champ. Dana says that her and Charlotte are on the same page.

Zack Ryder vs. Baron Corbin

Dolph Ziggler joins the commentary team, and Baron Corbin gets caught paying too much attention to him. Ryder hits a cannonball dropkick, an apron dropkick and a Broski Boot before going to the well one too many times. Corbin catches him with End of Days for the win.

Winner: Baron Corbin via pinfall (End of Days)

- Rusev attacks Kalisto before their match even gets started and applies the Accolade. Sin Cara tries to help, but gets it too. Titus O'Neil makes the save and runs Rusev into the guardrail before Rusev scampers off.

- The Club are backstage, and Styles says that Cena tried to embarrass him on Raw. New Day come in and try to clown them, but Styles challenges Woods to a match without anyone at ringside.

AJ Styles vs. Xavier Woods

Styles battling Woods on behalf of his Club brethren, and goes after Woods' knee with a shoulder right to it. The referee checks on Woods, but Styles goes after the leg. Woods battles back with a knee, but Styles comes right at Woods with a Pele kick that earns him a two count. Woods gains a nearfall on Styles, but walks right into a backbreaker as we go to a commercial break.

Woods manages a flying body press and a dropkick against the ropes, followed by a reverse suplex. Woods knocks Styles from the apron with an elbow, then flies over the top rope with a tope con hilo. Woods continues his roll by scoring with a big ropewalk elbow drop. Styles kicks out, hits a Phenomenal Forearm and submits Woods with the Calf Crusher.

Winner: AJ Styles via submission (Calf Crusher)

Styles attacks Woods after the match and says that's a taste of what Cena will get Sunday. Styles says Cena's time is up, and his time is now.

- Darren Young says that he's been reading a lot and applying it to his life. Bob Backlund says to never take advice from anyone, and he gives orders, not advice. He makes Young do 100 high knees.

Natalya (w/ Becky Lynch) vs. Charlotte (w/ Dana Brooke)

Natalya has the early advantage, hitting her signature front dropkick. Charlotte takes control outside of the ring, only to walk into a discus clothesline back in the ring. The two keep going back and forth as Charlotte gets an elbow, but Natalya catches her with a sitout powerbomb for a two count. Dana and Becky start fighting and end up in the ring. Charlotte makes the ref think Natalya was using the title, and chop blocks Natalya to set up the Figure 8 for the win.

Winner: Charlotte via submission (Figure 8)

- We see a Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns vignette.

Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens & Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro, Sami Zayn & Dean Ambrose

Cesaro starts strong, making Del Rio board the Uppercut Express. Cesaro continues this train, running around the ring and catching everyone with uppercuts into the guard rails. Cesaro manages a Cesaro Swing on all three heels, including on Kevin Owens. After a commercial, we see Jericho blast Cesaro in the face with a dropkick which allows the heels to work Cesaro over on their side of the ring.

Zayn and Ambrose both get tagged in and get great bursts of offense, including a big suicide dive from Ambrose to Del Rio. Ambrose goes for his diving elbow, but catches a Del Rio kick to the chest, followed by a Backstabber for two. Ambrose hits a rebound lariat for two, then everything breaks down. Cesaro accidentally hits Ambrose, then Zayn flips over the top rope and accidentally hits Cesaro. Del Rio tags Owens pretty hard and eats a superkick, then Owens gives Jericho one. Ambrose gets Dirty Deeds on Owens for the win.

Winners: Cesaro, Sami Zayn & Dean Ambrose via pinfall (Dirty Deeds)
