Ronda Rousey Reportedly Chewed Out Paige VanZant, VanZant Responds

Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey has always been a little confrontational, to say the least. Recently, Paige VanZant felt the wrath first-hand.

During Miesha Tate's appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience Thursday, Tate said that Rousey recently went off on the 115-pound Dancing With The Stars competitor for congratulating Holly Holm for beating Rousey.

"Paige and I have spoken before, we're friendly; I don't know her that well. Anyway, she felt the need, she came up to me. 'Miesha, I have to tell you this experience I had with Ronda'. I'm like 'What?' She's like 'We were at a Reebok deal recently and we were at a shoot and I was trying to find her so we could get a picture, and the Reebok people were like "Don't ask Ronda for a picture".' She's like 'Why?' and they're like 'Just don't. Stay away from Ronda, don't ask her for a picture,'" Tate said on the Joe Rogan Experience Thursday.

It would appear the Reebok crew knew that Rousey wasn't happy with VanZant and tried to keep the two apart. However, it wouldn't be long until Rousey found PVZ on her own.

"And I guess Ronda came later that day and (sought) her out. And just cussed her out. They've never really had a conversation either. She's like 'I don't know Ronda other than hi, bye.' That's it. I guess she came up, Ronda came up and was like 'f–k you, you fairweather b—h. How dare you cross me.' She (Paige) was like 'Cross you? What are you talking about?' And she (Rousey) is like 'You congratulated Holly Holm for beating me, so f–k you, you f**king fairweather 115-pound...". She just went off on Paige," Tate said.

Paige VanZant confirmed the story today when speaking to TMZ.

"It appears that I offended Ronda by congratulating Holly (Holm) after her victory," VanZant told TMZ. "The incident was very shocking and totally unnecessary."

TMZ said they reached out to Rousey, but her reps wouldn't comment.
