WWE Smackdown Recap (4/7): Reigns And Styles Face To Face, Intercontinental Title Match, Crews, More

- Roman Reigns comes out and says he is "the guy," which brings out AJ Styles. He says he'll become champ, and Reigns says that won't ever happen and pats him on the shoulder.

The Vaudevillains vs. Lucha Dragons

The Dragons get a catapult 450 to start the match, but the VV's ground and pound Sin Cara. Kalisto gets tagged in and makes a comeback with a springboard corkscrew body press. The Vaudevillains hit the Whirling Dervish on Kalisto to get the pinfall victory.

Winners: The Vaudevillains via pinfall (Whirling Dervish)

- We see Lita presenting the WWE Women's Championship.

Natalya vs. Summer Rae

Charlotte and Ric Flair are at ringside. Summer and Natalya go back and forth, and Summer pushes Natalya outside and snap suplexes her on the floor. Back in the ring, Summer is promptly put in the Sharpshooter and submits.

Winner: Natalya via submission (Sharpshooter)

- We see the Raw Rebound up next.

Intercontinental Championship
The Miz (c) (w/ Maryse) vs. Zack Ryder

Ryder gets a flapjack and a slingshot splash, but he's not able to put Miz away. We come back from commercial to see Miz working over Ryder. Zack comes back but gets caught with a powerbomb off the second rope. Ryder reverses the Skull Crushing Finale and gets a nearfall on miz.

Ryder misses a Broski Boot, but posts Miz and gets a suicide dropkick to the outside. Ryder connects with the Elbro drop for two. Maryse causes a distraction and Miz lands a Skull Crushing Finale for the win!

Winner: The Miz via pinfall (Skull Crushing Finale) to retain the Intercontinental Championship

- The Social Outcasts are ringside and play rock paper scissors over who gets to wrestle.

Apollo Crews vs. Curtis Axel (w/ Social Outcasts)

The Social Outcasts run around the ring and Crews punches Rose in the face. Axel takes control briefly until a Crews dropkick and standing moonsault for two. The Social Outcasts fail in their efforts to distract, and Crews hits the Toss Powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Apollo Crews via pinfall (Toss Powerbomb)

- Baron Corbin boasts about his week and says the end of days is already here.

- Becky Lynch is with Renee Young and makes a joke about her own stitches. She says the new Women's title is all about what they did on Sunday, and she'll be back in the title picture soon. Emma shows up and says she doesn't like that Becky was given all these chances while she got moved to the back of the line. Emma makes fun of Becky before leaving.

Dean Ambrose vs. Tyler Breeze

Clothesline, Dirty Deeds. Win

Winner: Dean Ambrose via pinfall (Dirty Deeds)

Ambrose and Jericho stare at each other on the ramp.

- We get ANOTHER Golden Truth segment. Truth tells Goldust he's going to introduce him to a big producer on Monday.

Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro & AJ Styles

The babyfaces take control early and Kevin Owens rolls out of the ring frustrated as we go to commercial. We come back and Owens is beating down Cesaro in the ring as he's struggling to tag out to Styles. Cesaro hits an uppercut on Jericho. Owens misses a Cannonball and Styles gets tagged in.

Styles lands his strike combo and a clothesline in the corner on Owens, before the Ushigoroshi on Jericho. Owens avoids the reverse DDT and clocks Styles with a superkick. Cesaro uppercuts Jericho over the barricade, and Sami Zayn comes out and distracts Owens. Styles rolls up Owens for the win!

Zayn and Owens go at it and have to be separated.
