- Jim Varsallone recently wrote a good story at The Miami Herald about NXT star Apollo Crews. In the story, Crews talked about how Wale helped him sign with WWE while he was wrestling on the independents as Uhaa Nation.

"A hip hop artist by the name of Wale, very well known, found me on Twitter," Crews said. "I was like, 'This can't be the real Wale following me.' It was, and after I followed him, he sent me a direct message saying, 'How can we get you in WWE?' I said, 'I honestly don't even know if they have a clue of who I am...I don't even know if I'm on their radar.'"

"It was cool because Wale got in contact with [WWE superstar] Mark Henry, who got me into one of WWE's camps/tryouts in October 2014. Once I had that opportunity, I wasn't going to let it pass me by, and then the rest just kind of fell into place."
