Alberto Del Rio WWE Status Update, WWE NXT Star Comments On Facing ZZ, NXT "Takeover: Dallas" Art
- As seen above, the latest Canvas 2 Canvas video from WWE artist Rob Schamberger features a piece for next Friday's WWE NXT "Takeover: Dallas" event.
- As noted, Alberto Del Rio has been pulled from weekend WWE live events for the second week in a row. He also missed Tuesday's WWE SmackDown tapings. PWInsider confirms that the issues keeping him off the road are injury related. We noted earlier this year that Del Rio had been dealing with lower back issues after taking a suplex from Brock Lesnar but we don't know if he's suffering from a new injury or not.
- The former Biff Busick, Christopher Girard, tweeted the following after losing to former WWE Tough Enough competitor ZZ at last night's NXT live event from Orlando. As noted, ZZ defeated Girard with a roll-up in ZZ's debut match. The match was said to be nothing special.
ZZ is hands down the very worst competitor I've ever been in a ring with. Yes, even worse than Mojo Rawley.
