- Both Mark Henry and Wade Barrett returned to action from injury on Smackdown this week. Henry's injury was just a short term one, as he only missed about a week. Barrett, however, has been sidelined for several months.

- Tonight's episode of Smackdown saw D-Von Dudley score his first singles victory on WWE TV in twelve years. His last 1-on-1 win came against former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam in May 2004.
