Dean Ambrose Talks Winning WWE Intercontinental Championship, Pays Homage To Past Title Holders

In the video above, Dean Ambrose talks about defeating Kevin Owens at WWE TLC tonight to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Ambrose cited past Intercontinental Champions like Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, Pat Patterson and Bret Hart being the workhorses of their time.

Ambrose said that people like Kevin Owens and Sheamus in today's WWE like to cheat, and doesn't think that Savage, Steamboat, Patterson and Hart would approve of how they represent the championship.

"That's why I'll go to every nook and cranny in this country, every town in the United States, every arena all over the world and I will defend the Intercontinental Championship like it was my own child, like it's the only thing in the world that mattered to me," Ambrose said. "Because that is what being champ is all about."
