- WWE SmackDown ranked #5 among non-sporting events for the night in Nielsen's Twitter TV ratings, for the second week in a row after usually placing pretty high, behind Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder and the Latin Grammy Awards. SmackDown had a unique audience of 683,000, which represents the number of Twitter accounts that commented on the show. This is up from last week's 659,000. SmackDown had total impressions of 1.766 million, which represents the number of times tweets about the show were seen. This is up from last week's 1.628 million.

- It's worth noting that there is no mention of a match in WWE's preview for the hour-long Survivor Series Kickoff pre-show on Sunday. The previews usually say a match will take place, if one hasn't been announced yet, but the Survivor Series preview just says the following:

"In addition to pre-show analysis of the evening's huge event, you will hear from some of the night's competitors mere minutes before they step into the ring."
