Update On The Rock's Status For WWE WrestleMania 32, Latest On Randy Orton's Injury
- We noted before via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that The Rock likely would not be wrestling at WWE's WrestleMania 32 next year as an insurance company had issues with covering him for a movie if he wrestled a match, due to the obvious risk of injury. It was noted that he would still be able to appear in a non-wrestling role.
In an update, those close to Rock noted to The Observer this week that his status for the show is doubtful but that's not quite 100% yet. As it stands right now, Rock may not be able to appear at all as he has a movie filming during WrestleMania weekend. It was noted that an appearance would be challenging to pull off but it was also made clear that it can be done.
- Regarding Randy Orton's shoulder injury that currently has him away from WWE, The Observer reports that people close to Orton are describing it as really serious. Orton may be having surgery now that he just got married.
