According to the Iron Sheik, Duggan was pulled over when the two were riding together in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The police found marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle.

"It was a bad scene and the most embarrassing [situation], and very bad. [It] cost me millions and millions of dollars to lose and [it was] also bad for my family, myself, my company."

To make matters worse, kayfabe was strong in those days and the incident occurred at a time when Duggan, the babyface, and the heel Iron Sheik were embroiled in an on-screen feud. The Iron Sheik admitted that the incident was the most horrible thing that could happen, as he was always trained to stay away from the babyfaces and avoid smartening up the marks. The Iron Sheik said that he was suspended from WWE for two years as a result of the incident.

The Iron Sheik indicated that the toughest behind the scenes fight he ever saw was between Vader and Orndorff in WCW. Apparently, Orndorff, who was working as a backstage agent at the time, was sent to the locker room by Kevin Sullivan to collect Vader for an interview. Vader refused and Orndorff got in Vader's face. The argument escalated with Vader punching Orndorff and Orndorff falling to the ground. Orndorff took down Vader with a double leg sweep and proceeded to stomp and kick Vader.

In addition to these topics, the Iron Sheik talked about Verne Gagne asking him to break Hulk Hogan's leg, his amateur wrestling background, and much more on this edition of Talk Is Jericho. Click here to listen to the entire interview.
