As seen on tonight's episode of WWE NXT, Samoa Joe and Finn Balor defeated Enzo & Cass to earn a semifinal spot in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic against The Mechanics at NXT TakeOver: Respect. Chad Gable & Jason Jordan will also face Baron Corbin & Rhyno. Dana Brooke will also face Asuka.

It appears with Finn Balor working the tag team tournament, that the NXT Championship will not be defended on NXT TakeOver: Respect.
