WWE Issues Statement Over Controversial Posts On NXT Diva's Social Media Account

As noted earlier, 20-year-old NXT Diva Nhooph Al-Areebi was involved in a controversy after offensive posts were revealed that were made to her Twitter account years earlier when she was a teenager.

WWE sent us the following statement regarding the posts:

"WWE conducted a thorough investigation and has determined that Nhooph Al-Areebi's (aka Jasmin) Twitter account was used without her knowledge when she was 16 and 17 years old. Jasmin remains apologetic for any offensive remarks that were made."
